Sherelle is a social researcher and ex-civil servant with and BSc in Psychology and Sociology. She has over a decade of experience in central and local government, plus a few more years in the third sector and global development space. She has a passion for social impact projects and research that leads to real improvements for peoples’ quality of life and quality of opportunity.
In her time Sherelle has worked in youth justice, national UK housing policy, smart cities, digital exclusion, child sexual abuse, counterterrorism, neglected tropical diseases, and maternal health. She’s held focus groups in prison canteens, and interviewed a Zambian chief in his palace! She is work-happy when interesting research informs tangible outcomes. Here at the ODI, she is working on effective data user engagement with our global partners.
