Justine Roberts said:

“The conversation about the legitimate uses of data is one of the most important debates of our age, touching as it does on privacy, influence, public understanding, transparency, and democracy itself. Major news stories over the past few years have demonstrated how the instrumentalisation of data can have extraordinary impacts on societies. It's crucial to get this right, and I'm delighted to have the chance to contribute to the ODI's crucial mission to make sure data is used to positive effect.”

Anna Mazzone said:

“The intersection of information standards, regulation, and industry expertise will enable commerce and markets, regulatory enforcement, and corporate governance to integrate and grow efficiently.  We live and work in an evolving digital society, I am excited to join the ODI and support their strategic developments to spread the adoption of data standards across multiple industries.”

Nigel Shadbolt, Chairman and Co-Founder of the ODI said:

“I am thrilled to welcome Justine and Anna to the ODI Board. The ODI exists to realise the economic and social value latent in data. Our new Board members are brilliantly placed to help the ODI realise its ambition to empower, through data, consumers and citizens, business and government.”
