Orsola currently leads the two startup programmes, the ODI startup accelerator for data-driven companies and the Open Data Incubator for Europe

Orsola is the Head of Startups at the Open Data Institute, where she leads the team running all accelerator and innovation programmes.

Aside from being responsible for the strategy and design of the programmes, she coaches and mentors startups on their business models, product management and pitching. She regularly speaks at external events about data-driven accelerators, open innovation and empowering women in tech.

Prior to her role at the Open Data Institute in 2015, she spent a number of years supporting and managing various projects and teams in the innovation sector and won a social enterprise award from UnLtd.

In early 2015 she co-founded a crowdsourcing and co-design platform that promotes civic engagement and collaborative urbanism.

In her spare time, she is part of several women-led networks for growing women’s leadership, in particular in tech and urbanism. She believes in using data and tech to help solve real challenges.

She holds a BS in Economics and Management and an MA in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts London.
