This is the first product we are looking to produce in the Assuring Trustworthy Data Practices project. The Data Practices Assessment Tool is specifically aimed to help organisations and teams understand and communicate their strengths and weaknesses by considering how they work across the data practices.
Why use this tool?
By using the Data Practices Assessment Tool you will begin to understand your organisation's data practices from a different perspective. You will be able to demonstrate to current and potential stakeholders the steps you take to operate in a trustworthy manner.
The Data Practices Assessment Tool will also provide a source of learning that we can use to begin to develop benchmarks or standards for each practice that could be used to formally assure data practices in the future.
