Lucas Stiglich
Associate
Lucas joined the ODI as a policy associate in 2021 and since then has also worked with the consultancy and R&D teams. His work with the ODI has included things like responding to government consultations on data policy, co-authoring a report on Experimentalism and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, delivering Data Ethics Canvas and Data Ecosystem Mapping workshops, and conducting research for policy and international development projects.
Before joining the ODI, he completed a MSc in Data & Society at the LSE Media and Communications department, where his dissertation ‘Platformisation as Development: Discourse and Justification in the South American Gig Economy’ was selected for publication as part of the Media@LSE MSc Dissertation Series. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of the Pacific (Peru). In the past, Lucas has worked as a researcher in an innovation lab in Peru, developing new digital services for peri-urban and rural communities, and as a freelance researcher and consultant for different companies and non-profit organisations.
