Violeta Mezeklieva
Former ODI staff member: Consultant and EU business development lead
Violeta was in charge of building strategic partnerships and identifying growth opportunities for ODI products and services in the EU, including grants within Horizon Europe.
Between 2019–2021, she delivered training to +1,500 people as an in-house Data Trainer in topics about building trustworthy data ecosystems, data ethics, machine learning, and open data. She developed learning products for governments and industries in the agriculture, finance, and entertainment sectors in the UK, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Spain.
Two years before joining the ODI, she decided to reinforce her skills and leant about the inner workings of the tech sector by programming in R and Python to analyse data and build machine learning models. These skills led her to become a mentor and developer for learning products about data.
