Rebecca Ghani
Former staff member: Production Manager
As Production Manager, Rebecca's responsibilities include managing the production of outputs across the organisation, including reports, blogposts, illustrations, podcasts, videos and microsites. The role covers copywriting, editing and proofreading blog posts, guides and technical reports. It also inlcudes commissioning copywriters and editors, and working with external designers and digital agencies to produce high-quality, diverse and engaging content across theodi.org.
Rebecca's background is in journalism and digital publishing. After completing an MA in Journalism at Brunel University, she worked as a freelance writer and editor, working on print and digital projects for various clients, including the NHS and The BMJ. She also worked as news and features writer on the journal Occupational Health at Work, writing about topics ranging from mental illness and addiction in healthcare professionals, to the balance between confidentiality and data sharing in healthcare.
Before then, she worked at as digital publishing manager at a national NHS organisation, where she was responsible for a suite of websites, and managed the revamp of a major patient safety website.
Rebecca likes watching bleak documentaries, reading Zadie Smith novels, and occasionally doing muddy obstacle courses.
