Jacky will work closely with the ODI’s board and leadership team, helping the organisation to deliver on its mission to help companies and governments build an open, trustworthy data ecosystem, where people can make better decisions using data and manage any harmful impacts.
In the era of AI, data is the new currency, and governance is more critical than ever. As historical data becomes commoditized, organizations will continue to grapple with what constitutes true intellectual property. I am excited to join the ODI Board now as we are actively building new frameworks around security, regulation, and responsible data sharing that will shape how organizations create and protect value over the next decade.
Jacky is one of the most accomplished technology leaders of her generation, and we are delighted to welcome her to the ODI Board. She has worked at the forefront of digital transformation, platform engineering and organisational change across global business and government. She understands that the future of AI depends on the quality, governance and stewardship of the data on which it is built. Jacky has been a powerful advocate for digital inclusion and for ensuring that the benefits of technology are widely shared. Her insight and leadership will be hugely valuable as the ODI works to build a more open, trustworthy and equitable data ecosystem.
