Kristin Hadland

Multimedia Content and Experiences Specialist

Kristin Hadland is a former BBC News & Current Affairs Producer and freelance documentary filmmaker whose credits include BBC Panorama & Channel 4 Dispatches, as well as dozens of investigative, observational and factual programmes.

During her ten years at the BBC Kristin worked closely with the journalist and presenter Fiona Bruce to make high-profile programmes including the RTS award-winning documentary Soham: The Real Story, for BBC1.

Kristin is now the ODI’s Multimedia Content and Experiences Specialist, with responsibility for all the ODI’s events, including the annual ODI Summit, which is live-streamed from a professional television studio, and gives a platform to a diverse range of speakers from across the globe.

Kristin brings her journalism, relationship building and management skills to bear across all areas of the ODI business. Along with her colleagues in the Corporate Affairs directorate she works to ensure the ODI brand underpins all our engagement and communications activities.

Having spent much of her 30-year career in journalism, trying to get access to data that people didn’t want her to have, Kristin is now passionate about helping communities to understand the power of data and how it can be used to change our lives.
