Developing a responsible innovation framework at a government backed research organisation poses social as well as technical challenges. The STFC Hartree Centre works across sectors, with organisations of varying scale from micro startups to large public sector organisations and with scientists from a variety of backgrounds. In this webinar we will discuss the frameworks and processes we developed, as well as the on-going work to win hearts and minds and embed responsible innovation in our centre as second nature.

We will present the results of our initial implementation and discuss how we ensured everyone came on our journey with us. Scientists understand their science best and must be involved in developing the responsibility process so that they see its value and ensure it works for their specific needs.
