We’ve wrapped up our ODI Summit for 2020, after spending over 8 hours exploring data futures with a huge range of high profile speakers and over 1000 guests from 72 different countries.
We had keynotes from author Safiya Noble and the UK’s Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham. The ODI’s co-founders, inventor of the web Sir Tim Berners-Lee and artificial intelligence expert Sir Nigel Shadbolt and the ODI’s Vice President, Jeni Tennison explored the State of the Data Nation at the event.
We also released a report that looks at the impact of the pandemic on children’s lives, and the wellbeing of parents and teachers, through the lens of new data made available to the ODI.
And finally, our new Data as Culture show ‘Rules of Engagement' was launched.
Most of the session will be on our YouTube channel tomorrow (11 Nov).
See you next year!
