Gráinne O’Neil
Head of Learning
Gráinne is the ODI’s Head of Learning and leads a team of academics, trainers, learning developers, multimedia designers and learning coordinators to deliver the ODI's mission and values.
She brings 15 years experience working in the private sector, specifically, international education and university partnerships. After achieving her Masters in Applied Linguistics, her early career began as an academic in English later transitioning into Online Product Management and Director roles in Learning Solutions and Technology Enhanced Learning, advising business partners on online product provision, digital skills training and tech platform capability.
Gráinne is passionate about serving customers to fulfil their ambitions and employing agile collaborative working with teams to build tech-based product solutions to support that journey.
She is also a primary school governor collaborating with senior leadership teams to drive the strategic development of the school and raise standards of achievement.
Outside of work, Gráinne enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen with her husband and daughter, wine tasting, travelling and exploring new places. In her spare time, you will see her on the salsa dance floor around the globe!
