Kimberley Abbott is CEO and founder of Vested Impact, a ground-breaking FinTech startup with a mission to ‘redefine “millionaire” to be a person who impact millions of lives'- through her platform that provides the data to enable people to make decisions on where to invest their money based where it makes the best impact on society.

Kimberley is an engineer, previously founding an award-winning social enterprise in India and leading engineering innovation within an aerospace multinational. Kimberley then spent many years working for the United Nations, leading the agile IT development and implementation of the globally recognised innovative data platform, responsible for assessing and measuring the effectiveness and impact of the UN’s $8Bn yearly peacekeeping operations; implementing the platform across 12 countries and some of the World’s worst conflict zones.

Kimberley has been included in 2023 NatWest and Telegraph’s 100 Entrepreneurs to watch and 2022 Standout45 in Women in Fintech PowerList. Kimberley's other achievements include being a UBS’s global Female Founder award winner in 2022; a finalist in the 2020 UN Secretary Generals Innovation Awards 2017. Kimberley has also been included in UK’s Top 50 Women in Engineering; 2018 Engineers Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers, and Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women.

Louise Burke is the ODI’s Chief Executive Officer and leads the team to deliver on the organisation’s mission and vision. Having joined the ODI in 2012 Louise previously held roles as chief finance officer and chief operating officer. She has expertise in data governance, data literacy, data institutions, data assurance and innovation, as well as a professional background in accountancy and finance. She was named one of the 100 Top Influencers across the UK’s open technology communities in 2021.

With a career that has involved building many businesses from the ground-up, and expertise in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and scaling, Louise has commercial acumen along with a commitment to deliver on the ODI’s vision.

As an accountancy professional, she has lectured in the UK and overseas for the ACCA and CIMA and has authored academic books, study systems and business articles.
