On Monday 8 November, join Justine Roberts CBE (founder and CEO at Mumsnet) and Professor Judy Wajcman (Anthony Giddens Professor of Sociology, London School of Economics; and Principal Investigator for the Women in Data Science and AI project, The Alan Turing Institute) as they discuss the gender inequality in data and technology.

About the speakers
Justine Roberts CBE is founder and CEO of Mumsnet, one of the UK’s largest and most influential online communities sharing advice, support and product recommendations with over 8 million unique users per month and 110 million pageviews.
Justine is a non-executive director of FTSE100 insurance firm Admiral, and of the Open Data Institute. She is also a member of the Government’s Rose Review Board. In 2011, Justine launched Gransnet, a website for the original baby boomer generation. She is a mother of four (and two dogs) and was appointed CBE in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to the economy.
Professor Judy Wajcman is the Anthony Giddens Professor of Sociology at the London School of Economics. She is also the Principal Investigator on the Women in Data Science and AI research project at The Alan Turing Institute, a member of the AI100 Standing Committee, and a Fellow of the British Academy.
Judy had published works in the fields of science and technology studies and feminist theory, and is known for her analysis of the gendered nature of technology. Her books include The Social Shaping of Technology, Feminism Confronts Technology, Managing Like a Man: Women and Men in Corporate Management, TechnoFeminism, The Politics of Working Life, The Sociology of Speed, and Pressed for Time: The Acceleration of Life in Digital Capitalism.
