The ODI Summit gathers hundreds of people from governments, businesses and civil society to discuss major issues of the day – from data ethics to trust, business models to emerging technology.
The theme this year is data impact – what positive impacts can we bring with data and how can we minimise harm? We’ll be offering another lively, fun and interactive day with influential keynote speakers, discussions, performances and demos.
We always want to feature and discuss different angles and perspectives on data, both in the content of the summit and the conversations that happen there. It’s important to us that we enable diversity, in our speakers, presenters, performers and the guests who attend.
We will be talking about how to bring about the best impacts with data and minimise harm, so we want the conversation to be inclusive of people from different backgrounds, places, life experiences, ages, and levels of ability.
We appreciate that there can be obstacles for people to attend conferences like the ODI Summit, from the cost of the tickets or transport to the accessibility of the space itself.
This year, we are pleased to be able to offer an accessibility fund for people who would like to come to the summit, but are in some way limited in their ability to do so.
What does the accessibility fund cover?
The ODI Summit accessibility fund will help to cover costs of getting to the summit as well as features that will make the summit itself a more inclusive and accessible space on the day.
The fund will support people for whom the cost of tickets or travel is prohibitive, or people who have accessibility needs – like the need to bring a carer – to be comfortable on the day.
