Jack Hardinges

Commercial Writer

Jack is Commercial Writer at the ODI. He is tasked with bid writing, maintaining the ODI’s sales processes and supporting the advisory team in the delivery of strategy, policy and research work. In 2016 he has delivered projects with startup, multinational corporate and government clients.

Jack joined the ODI in July 2014 and has also helped to develop the evidence base for the economic, societal and environmental impact of open data. Jack is a coauthor of Open Enterprise, Open Data Means Business and a number of other ODI reports; he also enjoys to write about the role of data in music, art and sport.

He graduated with a BSc in Economics and Management Sciences from the University of Southampton, specialising in macroeconomic policy, international trade and scientific decision making. He has previously worked in the UK, Asia and Africa.
