Head of Client and Customer Experience at Barclays UK
Matt is currently responsible for leading the Client and Customer Experience team across the Barclays UK business, building on a similar responsibility that he took on for the UK Retail and Business Banking business in July 2013.
Prior to that, Matt was the Group Head of Corporate Relations, where he led several Group functions, including Corporate Communications, Brand and Marketing, and Citizenship and Government Relations.
Matt’s previous roles also include Chief of Staff to John Varley, Head of Group Strategy and UKRBB Marketing Director. Matt joined Barclays in 2004 after nearly 12 years’ experience as a management consultant with experience across the Americas and Europe, split across financial services, consumer products and energy.
Matt has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
