Ibrahim Ahmed Elbadawi

Ibrahim is an entrepreneur driven by his passion for technology and innovation, and a former strategy advisor for Dubai Smart Government and the federal eGovernment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Beside ODI Dubai, Ibrahim is also the Managing Partner of Exantium – the Dubai based government advisory firm and Editor-in-Chief of (01government.com) - the Arabic Portal for Government of the Future.

As a Registered Open Data Trainer, Ibrahim & his team has delivered training to nearly 150 public servants in the UAE & neighboring countries delivered key nation-wide initiatives in the Middle East region.

Recently, Ibrahim has contributed to the UN e-Government Survey 2016 and the Open Data Barometer Global Report – 3rd edition.

He also created FlyLab – the drone for education startup which has reached the final stage of the global UAE Drone for Good Award 2016. Ibrahim is a digital nomad & lives between Dubai & Sydney.

At the summit, Ibrahim will share insights about his work with governments in the Middle East.
