Simon plays an important role in helping the Open Data Institute’s community and customers to develop the skills they need to work with open data. Simon has over 16 years of experience working in learning and organisational change. This includes leading the ODI’s learning programme between 2014 and 2016.
Prior to joining the ODI, Simon launched the first European office for Harvard Business School. He has also helped grow a startup learning company that focused on open source software development, and was a consultant for the HR advisory division of Manpower Group.
His natural enthusiasm for understanding how people and organisations change was given a firmer foundation during his masters degree in organisational psychology from Birkbeck College, the University of London.
