Philip is the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at the Open Data Institute, where he investigates the impact of data that is as open as possible and supports continuous organisational learning.
Philip has, for the last 20+ years, worked as a specialist in the field of learning, analysis, monitoring and evaluation, across many different types of national and international development including issues of national research capacity, humanitarian and long term development interventions, poverty alleviation and social change.
Philip has spent some years living and working in Ethiopia and Nepal, and has worked with colleagues around the world in many institutions and organisations supporting improvements in people’s lives.
