Community Engagement Manager
Marina is the Community Engagement Manager at the ODI, ensuring the right people and organisations are working with us on our research and development work.
She was previously the Research Impact and Engagement Officer for the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), where she focused on interactive data visualisation projects. Before coming to the UK, she worked as a journalist and editor in the US, Serbia and the Netherlands.
After an early start with maths and programming, Marina did a U-turn and got a BA in English. She also has an MA in Journalism, Media and Globalisation from the Erasmus Mundus programme. A former nomad, she is now happily planting roots in London, where she loves acting as a very enthusiastic (if unofficial) tour guide. She is also a long-standing tea enthusiast and is currently attempting to learn Dutch – properly.
