Konrad Kollnig is working as a Researcher for the Open Data Institute. His interests lie in privacy, technology and regulation. Besides, he is pursuing a PhD at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford.

Konrad received his MSc in computer science from the University of Oxford, and read computer science and mathematics in his undergraduate degree at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Edinburgh. He’s long been interested in policy and previously worked for relevant German student societies on digitisation policy for higher education.

In mid 2022, he’s been selected as a member of the expert advisory bodies of both the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and the EU’s European Data Protection Board (EPDB).
