Ellen joined the ODI in 2019 to work on startup and innovation programmes including Data Pitch, an EU-funded open innovation programme centred on shared data, and OpenActive, an initiative to use open data to get more people active, backed by Sport England.
Previously, Ellen spent a number of years working on startup programmes, including at the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub and Ashoka, a global network of social entrepreneurs.
Ellen has a BA in Japanese from SOAS, University of London.
