Claire Holland is the Community Engagement Manager on the OpenActive programme

Claire Holland is the Community Engagement Manager on the OpenActive programme at the ODI. She works with a variety of stakeholders across the UK to promote the goals of the OpenActive programme to open up data in the physical activity sector.

Previously Claire worked in project officer and community engagement roles within the environmental and geographic information system sectors. She has worked with a variety of stakeholders to deliver a number of sustainability projects including landscape improvements, community development, citizen science projects and to deliver community grant schemes.

Claire holds an MSc in Sustainable Development (Climate Change and Environment) from Exeter University and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia. She believes in all things sustainable and hopes to bring her experiences in the environmental and community sectors, along with her passion for physical activity, to her work on the OpenActive programme.

When not working at the ODI you will find Claire either out cycling, challenging herself with endurance activities or exploring great eateries in London.
