Alix is the Director of Computer Says Maybe, a consulting firm aiding industry and the social sector to responsibly build and manage the systems of the future. Previously, Alix co-founded and directed The Engine Room, a leading, global organisation leveraging data and technology to make the world a better place. She has advised hundreds of organisations on how to strategically adopt technology to power their work, and how to embed values into technical decision making. She is on the Technology Advisory Board for the International Criminal Court, the Advisory Council of Open Technology Fund, the board of Syrian Archive and Open Data Kosovo, and a former fellow at Open Society Foundations.
