GLL brings about social change and justice by working with communities. We make changes to help people enjoy local life - breaking down any barriers which may be preventing them from doing so.

Our Community Sports Officers act as a link between communities, our local government partners and other statutory bodies to help bring about change and make a real difference. Together, we want to achieve social and sporting inclusion.

We welcome all customers to our leisure centres and libraries and aim for our activities to be inclusive and DDA compliant.

We also offer an inclusive nationwide membership which gives disabled users access to gym, swim and fitness classes.

We’ve grown from strength to strength by working in partnership with local authorities, public agencies, sporting organisations and local communities.

With 270 leisure centres, 13,000 staff and more than 58 million visits a year, we make a difference to a daily quality of life.
