Friday lunchtime lecture: Open data powered solutions, helping people get better jobs

Friday 19 June 2015, 1:00pm - 1:00pm

The Open Data Institute, 65 Clifton Street, London, EC2A 4JE

You bring your lunch, we provide tea & coffee, an interesting talk, and enough time to get back to your desk.

The final challenge in the current Open Data Challenge Series run by the ODI, in partnership with Nesta, asked teams to use open data to help people get better jobs or create new ones.

This lunchtime lecture brings the three finalists, Bus Start. Performance in Context (PiC) and Smart Streets together to introduce their products. They will give a short 6 minute pitch about their product or service, their development so far, how they are using open data to innovate and what their plans are for the future.

Find out more about the challenge process and the three finalists.
