The Open Data Institute, 65 Clifton Street, London, EC2A 4JE
For our 16 January lecture... Helping people eat better with open data - Open Data Challenge Series
The ODI, in partnership with Nesta, is running a series of Open Data Challenges. The challenges invite people to create social impact by using open data with a £40,000 prize at stake.
The Food Open Data Challenge asks teams to create products and services to use open data to help people eat more healthily, eat more sustainably and/or have a more secure food chain.
Listen to this lunchtime lecture and hear from the food challenge finalists who have so far won £5k seed funding and incubation. Vitalfootprint, OMYGOODNESS and FoodTrafe shared their journey so far, their products and how they’re using open data to innovate in the food sector.
