Friday 24 January 2014, 1:00pm - 1:00pm
Open Data Institute, 65 Clifton Street, London, EC2A 4JE
Friday lunchtime lectures at the Open Data Institute. You bring your lunch, we provide tea & coffee, an interesting talk, and enough time to get back to your desk.
Ian Makgill of SpendNetwork, examined government procurement. Can open data be used to protect public investments and deliver an IT project on time and within budget?
SpendNetwork believe that government shouldn't have to pay for spend analysis, as long as the data is open, and that suppliers need better data on government opportunities.
