Sophia Worth
Junior Policy Associate
Sophia is the ODI's junior policy associate. She joined us following her Master’s degree at University College London in the Department of Geography. Sophia wrote her MSc thesis about the application of data ethics to carbon accounting.
Sophia's past professional experience includes working on evaluation projects for non-profit organisations, as a graduate assistant/teaching support in two universities, and as a research assistant on work related to climate action and disability.
Sophia completed a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam, graduating with a focus on public health and electives in philosophy. It was during her BSc that Sophia first developed her interest in the importance of data and quantification practices, and how to ensure different interests are fairly represented in data-driven work.
